Cab interiors fitted, bufferbeams fitted on and its time for a quick airing on Talacre just to see if the wheels still go round! Still quite a few jobs to do though!

Paint now done on the roof, doors and a poor attempt at the orange cantrail (vinyl) and the white line between ivory and turquoise (not good) Many problems experienced with lack of paint adhesion and masking tape! Yellow side stripes are transfers. Can't wait to finish all the fiddly little paint and transfer bits so I can seal the whole lot up with a coat of satin varnish!

At last, a bit of progress! Window frames, handrails, door hinges and door bangers all fitted. Holes drilled for door handles and grabrails. Near enough ready for primer (I think!)

First attempt at the exhausts. Not bad but still may be replaced with better ones eventually. Also filled the light apertures with 5 min epoxy to create a lens effect over the LEDs. Photos don't show the lights very well but they are lit!

Central door lock lights. Round LEDs didn't look right so I made a frame from plasticard, and poured in a little 5 minute epoxy and removed the frame, leaving a square lens of glue.
