 | 21st Aug 2009 | O Gauge Roxey Mouldings IOW 02 class kit build
Always wanted a model of an O2 but always thought the model looked a little short. Checked the drawings and it's about 10mm short! Decided to lengthen the kit by this amount and these pictures will show wether this was a good idea..or not!

 | 21st Aug 2009 | City of Truro in BR Black. Remember This?
I was part of the team that painted one side of 3440 "City of Truro" into BR Lined Black at Bridgnorth in October 1984 for a Steam World 1985 April Fool's prank. It was rubbed down, painted, lined photographed and either re-painted or dismantled in about a week. By the time the picture was published the loco was reduced to a pile of components ready for overhaul. Complete with 3717 number and red backed name-plates, it looked far better than it does now!!! I know who the others were but that's not for me to say.............
Apologies for the poor quality... the originals weren't too good as the weather was c**p

Some close up details of the Standard LMS Pratt Truss signal gantry at Llandudno station. I think Ratio Models sell a 4mm scale kit of this actual gantry. As I model in 7mm scale I took these to help me produce a similar model. Hope they are of use!

Signals & Boxes are dissappearing quickly from the system and those that remain are being steadily destroyed by being rebuilt, modernised or vandalised. I've worked in them all my life and I hope to show some rare internal pics as well as just outside views.
